I Heart Art: Fingerprints

March 26, 2012 | Art

Hi all, it’s Donaville from Discover Paper and today I wanted to share something for the kids – fingerprint guestbooks!

Fingerprint guestbooks seem to have been quite a craze for the past few years, and it’s no wonder why: it’s a really great way to leave a lasting impression! I’ve seen fingerprint trees a’plenty around the blogosphere, namely for weddings, but fingerprint pirate ships, elephants, and airplanes? I hadn’t heard of those until I stumbled across Bianca Hewson’s shop on Etsy. Bianca’s taken a popular idea and expanded it beyond the wedding scene, making birthdays and other events all the more memorable and fun. It’s DIY artwork!

  4. Love!!! Thanks for sharing!!

  5. Thank you so much for your little write up on my guestbooks. I love doing different styles as well as the more traditional trees and even have little customisations like the child’s name as part of the ships name, or a birthday date as the planes id number.

    Thanks again
