Well, it’s not really a traditional Workspace Wednesday, but this is what I’ve been working on the last couple of days! I’m putting my “Words” watercolour paintings in the shop.
It’s taken a little bit of time for me to reach the point where I’m ready to let go of these little paintings.. I’m not really sure why though, I should have done it a long time ago! I guess it’s one thing to show these paintings to you on the blog, and an entirely different thing to actually put them out there for someone to buy.. it’s scary!
Last week I was thinking about offering them as prints, but have since decided that I don’t want to take away from the uniqueness of an original artwork. And so, the original of each watercolour is in the shop now, and once it’s sold it won’t be restocked.
I would like to continuously add new original watercolours as I do them though, so keep an eye out in the shop for that over the next months :)
Happy Friday everyone! I just wanted to drop in today to share a gorgeous shop I discovered a week or so ago..
Sanna Annukka is a designer and printmaker, and my oh my do I love her work! These gorgeous original screen prints are so bright and cheerful, I’d love to have one hanging in my house. They’re also quite large which just makes me love them even more! :)
Aren’t they great?! You can see all of Sanna Annukka’s work in her shop, and also on her blog.
I hope you’re all having a wonderful holiday season! x
For quite a long time now I’ve been toying with the idea of purchasing a piece of art. And for quite a long time now, I haven’t been able to afford or justify it. That, and I just haven’t found the right piece, or the right wall to hang it on. But, the minute I saw these extremely sweet little portrait blocks by Amanda Blake.. I was head over heels. Seriously, I want them all.
Aren’t they lovely?? I can’t get enough of the colours, the stripes, the flowers..
This is just a small sample of the beautiful work Amanda does, so head over to her shop and blog to see more! The ones above are all only 3.5″ x 4.5″ (teeny tiny!) but she also does larger paintings, and prints too :)
Well.. more like a letter, the letter A to be exact! I thought I might try creating some cool letters (along with other ‘words’ creations), and what better place to start than at the beginning? :)
Introducing, the letter A.
You can check out my other words projects here, and if you want to see the latest paper cutout versions, they’re here, here, and here.
Good Monday morning all! Ready to start your day off with something pretty?
I’ve had this delightful Spanish shop bookmarked in my etsy favourites for a long time now. I absolutely love everything in it, and the more I look at her artwork, the more I want one.. I find them so joyful.
Even better? You buy the actual artwork, not just a print! And then there’s the super funky paper dolls.. I could just go on and on really! What do you think?
