There are few things in life as thrilling as well organised supplies.
It’s the small things, people.
I’ve noticed that sorting things by colour brings a kind of calm to my mind… I don’t have to think too hard about which colours go where because I just know, and I’m achieving two things at once – organisation, and beauty! Clearly I’ll grasp at anything to get my office tidier! haha
I’ve got a lovely summery DIY over on Say Yes to Hoboken today.. I’m imagining using this colourful tray on warm summer afternoons to shuttle icy drinks pool-side (luckily it’s summer here all year round!), or keeping it on our coffee table, lit with a bunch of pretty chandles.. :)
Full DIY can be found here.
Moody pinks and neutrals.. perfect combination :)

Since seeing this video, I’ve made a vow to myself that while I’m living in South East Asia, I must must get to India to celebrate the Holi Festival of Colours. I have heard of it before and thought that I really should get there to see it sometime, but now.. it’s an absolute must. Just watch this gem of a video.. I think you’ll understand why.
I can’t actually stop watching.. it puts such a smile on my face :)
I know this isn’t the usual ‘I heart art’ but I think you’ll agree that this video is a piece of art.. and I’m really hearting it. It was shot by Jonathan Bregel and Khalid Mohtaseb for Variable. Found on Colossal.
I’m going to end the week with something bright. Really bright. Ready?
There’s so much neon around at the moment, particularly pinks (and we all know I love me a bit of neon pink action from time to time), but today I thought I’d put together some inspiration from one of the lesser-appreciated neons.. yellow!
