Mmmmm mango. One of my most favourite fruits, ever.
My nose found these babies before my eyes did as I was wandering the supermarket aisles the other day.. and the taste didn’t disappoint either! Delicious. Normally I only really see the smaller, not-as-sweet mangos around these parts (also nice, but different to the ones we get in Australia), so was very excited to get my hands of a couple of these! They were labelled as Thai R2E2, and were almost as good as Kensington Prides – almost. :)
Made a couple of these as a tasty snack yesterday..
Who knew avocado could taste good as ice cream! Actually you can’t even tell it’s avocado, it just makes it nice and creamy. I think next time I’ll add a little less matcha, and a little more honey (they were a tad bitter). I also didn’t have any cacao butter, hence the gloopy white chocolate drizzles :D
My desk right now… I’ve spent so much time at the computer this week!
I can’t stop eating these crunchy, salty, delicious pretzels… argh, someone get them away from me!
We had some good friends visiting for the weekend, and had a great time showing them around the city and eating loads of awesome food :)
Photos are from our satay dinner one night, walking around the Marina Bay area, and exploring the new Gardens by the Bay. It had been raining earlier in the night, so the gardens were almost empty, making it such a quiet and peaceful experience.. you could almost forget where you were!
