Look! I made a top!
It’s a slightly modified version of this pattern.. I didn’t do the double collar and changed the sleeves to be rolled. It’s the second top I’ve done from this pattern, and I’m slowing figuring out what works for me and what doesn’t, and altering it to fit. :)
And, it was actually a lot easier to sew this than trying to sew the t-shirt I attempted last week. I failed at the t-shirt, but this blouse I might actually wear! Success ;)
PS. Possibly should have ironed it before taking these photos.. sorry about that! Just keeping it real.
Have you heard of Herriott Grace? I came across their shop quite a while ago now, and always check back to see if any new products have arrived, as well as to drool over their beautifully styled photographs. I want to live in Herriott Grace photographs, they’re so very lovely.
The shop is a team effort by father and daughter, which just makes it all the more special, and their products are simply gorgeous… have a look:
I’m basically wish-listing everything in their shop :)
You can find their full range here, but be aware that things sell out pretty quickly!
Hello! Happy Wednesday! Well, the wedding is over, and what a day it was! More on that once we’re home from the honeymoon :)
I just wanted to share something I made to take with us on our honeymoon… it was inspired by one I saw at Gap, which I loved, but I was challenged by Dave to make one to save us some money! (Actually it looks like they aren’t selling them anymore, I can’t even find a picture – sorry!). What do you think?? It doesn’t zip up, but is great for just holding our towels and sun cream :)
