I was hanging out on Pinterest the other day (as you do) and came across this party thrown by TheHennCoop for her daughter’s 1st birthday party. I was completely taken with the sweet and simple decorating style, which seems refreshing after seeing so many over the top kids parties on Pinterest lately!
So I thought it might be fun to put together a few finds inspired by the photo..

Hi all, it’s Donaville from Discover Paper and today I wanted to share something for the kids – fingerprint guestbooks!
Fingerprint guestbooks seem to have been quite a craze for the past few years, and it’s no wonder why: it’s a really great way to leave a lasting impression! I’ve seen fingerprint trees a’plenty around the blogosphere, namely for weddings, but fingerprint pirate ships, elephants, and airplanes? I hadn’t heard of those until I stumbled across Bianca Hewson’s shop on Etsy. Bianca’s taken a popular idea and expanded it beyond the wedding scene, making birthdays and other events all the more memorable and fun. It’s DIY artwork!
