Hi you guys!
I just wanted to drop in to see if any of you have you heard of the 100 Happy Days project? If not you should check it out – it’s such a lovely initiative, and a really fun/easy way to start appreciating the things that make you happy every day. We could all use a bit more of that now and then right?!
A few days ago I signed myself up to take part and am posting the happy moments from my every day over on Instagram.. do follow along! Or even better, take part in 100 Happy Days with me :)
Phew what an epic weekend! We’ve had some friends in town since Friday, so we spent most of our time out and about, doing fun touristy things around here – like boat rides through the city, the Night Safari, going to the observation deck at Marina Bay Sands, wandering around Gardens by the Bay, and of course indulging in our fair share of delicious food!
Catching up with friends is definitely one of my favourite things :)
What did you get up to?
I know we’ve still got a few months to go before rolling over into the new year, but I just wanted to share my new planner with you! You might recognised it from the Pins post I put up yesterday. It’s by a very sweet lady by the name of Jolyn, who runs an online shop here in Singapore called Actspressions.
Isn’t it lovely? It’s full of 12 different illustrations, and even includes holiday dates for Singapore – which is great for me, because I always seem to miss them. The hardest part is that I can’t use it until next year ;)
So for anyone here in Singapore looking to get organised for next year, be sure to check out Actspressions – they’ve also got cards and calendars, and Jolyn couldn’t be nicer :)
Happy Monday peeps!
How was your weekend? Ours wasn’t too bad, although I’ve had a cold for almost a week now and over the weekend I lost my voice. So I’ve just been wandering around the house squeaking and wheezing, trying to be understood haha.
We did manage to drag ourselves out for an excursion on Sunday afternoon though… we drove to the other side of Singapore to the Changi War Museum, followed by a beautiful walk through Pasir Ris Park. Wow, what a gorgeous park, right on the beach! We ended the day with some yummy dumplings and long chats with friends on Skype (I did a lot of hand-gesturing). Come back voice!
All in all, not half bad really :)
What did you get up to?
Well, would you look at that… I’ve reached 100 Workspace Wednesdays! How cool :)
Things have been so busy around here since I got back from holidays a couple of weeks ago, it’s been great! It’s always difficult to come back after such a wonderful holiday, so having lots of things to keep me busy has been a blessing. Sometimes I forget to just stop and take a breath though, you know? Walk away from the computer for a couple of hours and just regroup.
I met a friend of mine, Militza, yesterday in town for a dual work/coffee date which was the perfect way to escape the computer for a little while. Thanks Militza! :) While I was waiting to meet up with her, I happened to look down and noticed that my spotty shoes were matching the spotty pavement hehe! A bit of a funny thing to notice, but I was excited to have seen it instead of just walking over it like I normally would :)
Clearly, I need to get out more haha. Happy 100 Workspace Wednesdays!
