Ah business cards. I haven’t updated mine for quite some time, so when I realised I was going to be needing some later this week, I figured I’d better get on it! Previously I’d just printed them myself, but this time I thought I’d go pro and actually get them professionally printed. So I designed them and handed them off to the printer last week. So excited!!
Unfortunately though, it looks like they won’t be ready until next week, so I’m going to have to stick with self-printed cards for the time being. Not to worry, I think they still turned out ok :)
Once I’d finished them I was looking around my studio wondering what I could put them in to take them with me, and guess what my eyes landed on? Yep.. such a handy little pouch, the cards fit perfectly! :)
Well, would you look at that… I’ve reached 100 Workspace Wednesdays! How cool :)
Things have been so busy around here since I got back from holidays a couple of weeks ago, it’s been great! It’s always difficult to come back after such a wonderful holiday, so having lots of things to keep me busy has been a blessing. Sometimes I forget to just stop and take a breath though, you know? Walk away from the computer for a couple of hours and just regroup.
I met a friend of mine, Militza, yesterday in town for a dual work/coffee date which was the perfect way to escape the computer for a little while. Thanks Militza! :) While I was waiting to meet up with her, I happened to look down and noticed that my spotty shoes were matching the spotty pavement hehe! A bit of a funny thing to notice, but I was excited to have seen it instead of just walking over it like I normally would :)
Clearly, I need to get out more haha. Happy 100 Workspace Wednesdays!

Isn’t this dragon fruit amazing? I bought it on a whim yesterday while I was at the market and could barely wait to get home and cut it open!
Pretty, right? It was a bit strange at first, eating something with such a bright, almost fake-looking colour… but it has such a lovely flavour – very mild and sweet. Hard not to enjoy! And it left my hands and tongue a very pretty shade of purple ;)
On my desk this Wednesday.. they’re the prettiest shade of pink! I find fresh flowers really make my desk (and house) feel so much more lively and pretty.. do you think so too?
Over the last day or so I’ve been attempting to sew my first ever T-Shirt by drafting it off another T-Shirt I have. I’m sceptical about how successful it’s going to be, but I’ll give it my best shot! ;)
I have a container that I keep all my sewing bits and pieces in, and I noticed this morning how cool the tops of the thread spools looked. The rest is a bit of a mess.. haha.
