Even though we’ve been away in the Maldives celebrating our Honeymoon, we also had the chance to celebrate Dave’s birthday a few days ago too! With the help of our hotel, I surprised him with a little half-day trip.. it involved taking a 15 minute boat trip, arriving at a little sandbank in the middle of the ocean. We were then dropped off (equipped with an umbrella, chairs, breakfast, and lots of cold drinks) and were left for about 3 hours to do as we pleased. It was a beautiful snorkel spot, so we spent our time swimming around, collecting shells, eating, sunning ourselves, and chasing the birds. Ah, bliss :)
